CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Boston College football right guard Christian Mahogany (Elmwood, N.J.) was named the ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week as voted on by the media and announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. The award marked the first weekly award in Mahogany's career and the first by an Eagle this season.
Mahogany played all 78 offensive snaps in a come-from-behind, 27-24 win over Virginia on Saturday. He did not allow a quarterback pressure on 30 dropbacks, despite playing next to three different right tackles as BC lost its starter and back-up to injury during the game.
